What do you think of this drawing?
I've been in a drawing slump lately and I've had a hard time even bothering to attempt a straight line and this... is only the beginning simply because I need feedback. I drew this November 15th of 2012 {as you can see in the photo} and I really need things to get me going again; inspiration perhaps. Criticism is well asked for! Any creative idea! Keywords! Names! Anything at all; even if not pertaining to this drawing. I truly need help.
You got a sexy harpy there...However, her left leg seems to be broken. Or maybe my eyes are fooling me?..hahah..but it's excellent overall..
Thank you by what do you mean broken? Haha, I am only curious simply because I think it is that I draw it that I don't see how it is broken. :3
Yes, the left leg seems to be positioned in an unatural way. The lower leg, past the knee, has a curved line, should be straighter.
The head and hair would look better, in a more natural position, if the hair fell on the woman's back. The left wing more to the side with the hair covering it a little. Just my suggestion...you are the artist...maybe this is the way you want it. Overall very good. Keep drawing, there is no right or wrong way, you just need to find your style. Hope this helps.
Now that you put it that I way, I do see what you say where from that I shall thank you greatly. I am very far from professional so I hope to develop my skill and use all the help I can get.
I would suggest you make any desired changes to this drawing, or do a similar one and post it here again. Thanks!
I love it. I didn't notice what dailytop was talking about until the "broken leg was mentioned and I took another look. The left leg is bent at the knee so she's "kneeling" on the platform. Yet where the leg hangs off the platform it looks like there's a slight bend between the knee and the ankle where the bone would keep it straight. It could be an optical illusion because of the straight line for the top of platform.

Writing - in a straight line, or all over the place?I've written a couple of attempts at novels - one which followed all in a straight line...I knew where I needed to go, and mostly how I get there. The one I'm writing now, is jumping about all over the place.....I know kind of where it...
