I am a poet/spoken word artist looking to enlist some help on a wood based project. I wrote (and performed) a poem for my best friend for her wedding and would like to present the poem to her as a wedding gift, engraved on wood.
I'd like to have a wedding photo on the top of the piece and the poem (3 pgs in MS word) etched below the photo. I would be able to send a drawing of what I have in mind, specifically.
Can you help me create such a personalized gift through wood burning or carving, at an affordable price? If not, is there someone you might be able to recommend to me?
Any help you can offer would be invaluable. Thanks in advance for your consideration and help.
I'm experienced in woodburning, and have burnt lettering before. What size are we talking about. It really depnds on how many words. Too many words on too small of a plaque would make it too hard to burn.
