Valentines Day Clip Art

Valentine's Day is one of those holidays that's fun for both kids and adults. Use free Valentine's Day clip art to make cards, crafts, and gifts inexpensively.

Hearts are often thought of as THE graphic or clip art that represents Valentine's Day, but there are plenty of other images that do the trick. Depending on your feelings, a heart may be just right or something a little less mushy might be what you have in mind.

- The word "love"

- Flowers

- Any shape as long as it's red!

This simple craft is something you and the kids (or just you!) can work on a few minutes here and there or devote a few hours to making these cut out shapes then stringing them. Use old boxes from cake mix, cereal, anything you have on hand that's the write color! Sew them together and string them to decorate for Valentine's Day.

This simple addition problem worksheet can be used on Valentine's Day. It was created by Learning Team B "to accompany the hands-on, activity-based math lesson plan I created for kindergartners."

Pass out candy hearts and let students work together to complete the worksheet, which has students count each color of candy hearts they have. This could also be used with paper hearts in different colors.

You may have heard of the anti-Valentine movement. People get together on February 14 to basically say no to Valentine's Day. I can relate. If you can too, check out the Valentine clip art here by Vintage Moth. I think it's adorable!

I personally think Valentine's Day is fine if it's not overdone. I mean, come on. Do you really need a special day to say you care? If you care, just show it all year long, every day by being considerate and making your loved ones feel special.

But if you must go all out, consider giving a really good box of chocolates (or some other treat that will be appreciated) to that someone special!
