Who shuts the door when the bus driver gets off the bus?
There's typically an outdoor handle, too... it's hard to open while running, though
As a past school bus driver, the door was never completely shut when there was no one in it. It was shut but not 'locked' into place.
Isn't the bus driver usually the last one off the bus? Wouldn't he then close it?
I think I've seen them do it - not something I've been looking out for though, although I will be now - they turn a knob or something that makes the door close.
I'm a bus driver and we can shut both the front and back doors from the outside, but I won't post how. We leave our doors open when we leave, though, so shutting the door from the outside rarely occurs.
