What is the working mechanism of brake system in a car?
There are several working mechanisms working together to make your braking system work effectively. One will usually not work without the other, so it is hard to pinpoint what you are asking.
I mean how brakes work: - how the force on my foot goes to the wheels and how this same force is multiplied to be strong enough to stop the car.
Basically, when you put your foot on the brake, the calipers contract and push the brake pads against the rotor. It's the force of the brake pads on the rotor which slows the car.
