No acceleration power!! What to do?
I have a 1993 get prizm and it has suddenly lost all acceleration power!! What are the most likely culprits I should check first....
Your internet connection is likely the trouble. You may have also dragged in a virus or something that is slowing it down. Try clicking on your control panel, then click recovery to restore your system back to an earlier point of time.
I'm sorry, I thought you were talking about your computer. I understand after reading it a second time. I must have been having one of those brain dead moments.

I would check,oil first.Also check clogged fuel filter or lines.Transmission might also be culprit if it sounds like it is not switching into gear.Also check spark plugs and wires.
if there is a check engine light it could be a sensor auto parts store can check codes and give you a generalized idea of where problem is.
Thank you for giving me an idea of where to start! I am pretty sure it's not a fuel problem and i didn't notice any problems when shifting gears nor is the engine light on. But I will check plugs and wires before considering a bad distributor...

Does a car with automatic transmission have a clutch?I know it doesn't have an extra pedal, but is there an internal clutch. In other words, is there such as thing as "the clutch going bad" in an automatic transmission car?
