Hi, I have a 91 Honda Prelude. doing rear brakes. getting the pads in was difficult.
I had to pound them down to seat them. Now, I can't get the caliper bolts through and threaded? What am I doing wrong?
I would start by watching some youtube videos about your specific car and issue.
If that doesn't help I would ask a mechanic you trust for help.
We also have an article about brake issues for you to read: https://wheelscene.com/how-to-change-brake-pads/
When I see the word pound I think broken stuff. Perhaps get some new calipers.
