Toyota like all car companies has problems from time to time. They didn't actually manufacturer the gas pedals... most cars are made with parts from many companies.
I will still buy Toyota. I also have owned Chev, Chrysler, Ford and Mazda.

That's because we've been lied to and misled so many times by the media who cares what they say. They're all going broke and latch onto anything they think they can build into a big story. This deal with Toyota is a non-event as far as I'm concerned. Way overblown.
overblown indeed, TOYOTA made cars are best and HONDA as well
My dad's favorite word when he watches news such as this? Propaganda!
Take the consumers advice that have bought Toyota and are happy!!!!
Of course everything will have glitches, if we are imperfect how can our man-made products be anything but?
Be more concerned when you buy toys for your children and the screws come loose causing your precious baby to choke and they are forced to recall that!!!
Oh well I am just happy with my ‘x’ amount of years old car-which isn’t Toyota but still…-! Good luck Toyota!!!!!
Lies is more like it. Working in law enforcement I can know the most intimate details of a certain case. When I see it portrayed on the news at night it's unrecognizable. What they don't know they make up. What they can't get they invent. Days later they'll call the correction an 'update' and never admit they were wrong.
Update..or BREAKING NEWS! This just in! LOL......
You got it! No listeners, we weren't wrong. We just didn't know what we were talking about when we first aired this story.
Or sometimes it's just something as superficial as this...."I'm sorry to inform you but we just lost contact with so and so at point such and such who was our main affiliate for this and that...His camera froze. We have never had this technical problem. Therefore we will wing it which we have been doing for the last three hours during this news segment but you have all been taking us so seriously!!!"
WOW, I feel bad beating them up but they do tend to embellish everything. Even the weather!!!!! LOL
Ah, the weather. Weatherman. The only job you can have where you're wrong 80% of the time and get a raise each new contract you sign. Last Saturday night, our cute, young weather girl actually said and I quote "It might rain or it might not. We're not sure at this time. We don't know what it's going to do." That was classic. I laughed till I cried.
If I didn't LOVE writing so much I would consider becoming a meteorologist because it is the only job you get paid to lie!!! haha!!! What a life! What a reputation!
It's summer....100% of precipitation -They are calling for 50% snow...50% rain!
I have seen many stories about different car manufacturers having dangerous faults in one or more of their cars and doing nothing about it. I can't help but think about that when I see this story that Toyota is recalling these cars with potential dangerous faults and think well now thats just responsible.
Here in the UK we have a show called watchdog and it does all the stories about businesses offering dangerous products or scamming customers etc. Some of the car related stories have made me seriously reconsider my opinion of certain car companies, not because of a fault but because of the total lack of customer care on the part of the companies. Toyota would not likely be featured on this show because they are taking responsibility and that is what you really need from any company.
Responsible...excellent choice of word!!!!

To refer to the "press as the enemy of the American people' in the terms he did was the epitome of stupid. This was attacked by many GOP as attacking the very foundation of America Democracy, the Fourth Estate. So many people think that I am picking on Trump, but I am not Charlie McCarthy,...

Why do you think the drug companies today spend so much money on media ads and not on research? In the past, very few drugs were advertised, and it seems in the last ten years media overloads us with these ads. I know it is to make money, but whatever happened to finding cures and ensuring safety...

Where I work there is no union. Should I be concerned? The company I work for refuses to have a union so I was wondering if I should be concerned with this.
