What is the best e-commerce platform?
My friend says Yahoo, does anyone know of another one just as good?
To be honest, most would need more information before giving you good advice on that question. What are your intentions? Do you have your own credit card merchant account or do you need to use solutions like PayPal? What are you selling and what are your needs? Do you need the ability to fine grain subdivide items, including size variants, color variants, or something else? If you want a good answer to the question, please provide more detail of your intentions and needs.
trogar1971, I was hoping to find a all-in-one solution for an e-commerce site. They would handle the payments (merchant account), detailed division of product items (colors, sizes, etc.), and detailed reports on orders. Can you think of anything that fits this model?

if we set up a merchant account being honest about what type of business we are can they legally...freeze our account and shut us down later saying that they dont process for our type of business even though they opened the account knowing what type of business we ran?
