There are some few strategies out there you can find handy.
If you have a website with your products,then best way to drive traffic is from SEO (search engine optimization) for others to find your site on search engines.Otherwise you can use google advords-these are pay per click ads on google.You can also create video and put it on youtube to promote your site.

Join digg, and make sure you are posting comments on high traffic content on digg with a link back to your lead capture page.
If you're (plural, anyone) willing to get out from behind the computer, actually meeting people face to face and in person, it may sound contrite, but joining local small business organizations always helps (think your local Chamber of Commerce)... usually membership is pretty inexpensive and the meetings can be quite fun.
