On Monday, the Society for Human Resource Management released its annual survey about end-of-the-year office fêtes. In it, 30 percent of the H.R. professionals who responded said their companies do not usually have year-end parties for all employees. I think year end parties are good morale boosters and maybe the employees can contribute to it. Pot luck is always fin. Bosses and corporations need to stop looking at the bottom line.
