Well I wouldn't say my business but I make iPod Touch app review videos and write them up, so i use twitter to promote them and tweet that I've released a new review and such. I have 35 followers and most of them are tech related so it works pretty well.
Twitter is just another social media group to make contacts with and develop relationships with people. Since I work from home, it is perfect for me, but I prefer the Ning social groups more like this one> http://tomsparrow.info
Twitter drives 90% of my web traffic for my blog...
So yes! Twitter is incredibly useful for my business.
It also rocks for networking. Almost all of my business leads are Twitter based.
The problem with Twitter is that too many people try to spam on there when it's all about being friendly and interesting.
