Im transfering locations at my job and need to a letter to my landlord to get out of my lease
The reason for a lease is so that the landlord has you by the short hairs if you need to move.
If a provision such as you wish is not in the lease, or perhaps addressed in some law in your locality, you are S.O.L.
Perhaps your employer will buy you out of your obligation, but don't hold your breath.
