    I get a letter in the mail today stating that I will no longer receive unemployment benefits. I...

    live in Florida in the city with the highest unemployment rate. I have looked for jobs, I am well educated and have lots of experience. Because of this law, my child and I no longer have an income. If anybody could please tell me if they know of any legit work at home business I would appreciate it. Thank you.

    It is a sad thing for so many people to lose unemployment benefits.  Especially with  so few jobs out there.   Do you have children to take care of?  Can you do baby sitting in your home?  Or somekind of work at home  job.   If selling anything would help you go here to get 5 free listings to sell anything.  No signup fee for a limited time.  Thanks from linlujo;
    http://bigvaluedepot.com/LJstore   or  http://bigvaluedepot.com/free  and enter code 26828      This is limited time free offer.

    Wow, that really does suck:-(

    Apart from hubpages - which although is a viable income, is too slow to build up to rely on immediately, you might consider the second hand market.

    Ceciliabeltran wrote a great hub on "making money from nothing" - basically about selling peoples stuff for them on ebay, or in other markets.
    I really found it quite useful - maybe that will help in the short term?

    It's here: http://hubpages.com/hub/Creating-Wealth-from-Nothing

    Good luck!

    Hate that for you also! I know I had been out of work for over 2 yrs and I wasn't able to get any unemployment benefits, so I know and understand how horrible that can be! Here is an article that I wrote on a very legitimate work at home business that pays residual monthly income. This company has been in business since 1985 and has an impeccable record with the Better Business Bureau; It is definitely worth a try! Here is the hub pages link: http://hubpages.com/hub/Turn-Your-Health-Into-Wealth    Or if you just want to check out the website without reading the article that website is www.workathomeunited.com/agreen  This is a wonderful opportunity and you will be so glad that you did not close the door on this one! smile Good luck!

    I live in Florida and just applied for benefits. I heard it takes forever.
    Sell some stuff on Craigslist or Ebay.
    Put an ad on Craigslist as a gift wrapper for senior citizens. They sometimes
    have trouble with dexterity. Take one day, and make yourself an expert gift
    wrapper. For the next 2 weeks, that's all you think about. Tell your friends, tell
    your neighbors, etc...
    Don't be ashamed to tell people why you are doing this. Some will be more than
    happy to help. But you won't know 'til you put that out there.
    Good luck, I'll be thinking about you.
