I am a seasoned registered nurse and am unable to find a job. There is a great deal more that I...

could add, however this is paramount. Please advise.

I'm a CNA and I'm having the same problem down here in Tampa. You'd think it wouldn't be that way in the retirement capitol of the country. Try different fields, hospital, LTC, rehab, agency/in home care.

I read an article in USA Today last week about this.  Apparently, RN jobs are becoming more scarce in part because there are less nurses retiring and a lot of new grads.  So, it's taking RNs longer to find new positions. If you need to find something real quickly, try agency work.  Some companies -- insurance, law firms, hire RNs as FT workers or consultants. Do you have the time/money for additional training -- physican's assistant or nurse practitioner are hot careers.  Good luck in your job search.
