Anyone write for all 3 of these online job sites - oDesk, Get a Freelancer, and Elance?
I'm a provider at oDesk, and have had some success there. I did also join Get a Freelancer and Elance, but ended up not doing anything there as spent all my time making a greater effort at oDesk. Is it worth going back to Get a Freelancer and Elance too, now that I've gotten used to oDesk?
YES! its all bidding wars! dont use those sites unless you have $$$$ to burn!
We're in the same boat Teresa! I've started taking bidding as fun now, just bid and forget about it!

Does anyone write for clients found on oDesk or Elance?I'm registered on both sites, but have yet to bid on any jobs. I'd love to hear from anyone with experience on these sites. Thanks!

I'm a freelancer on both oDesk & Elance. There are things I like, and dislike, about both sites. But a collaboration between the two? That might actually be a good thing.

Has anyone had success on odesk as a freelancer?I started using odesk.com a few weeks ago looking to pick up a few freelance jobs. So far, I've been hired for two. I was wondering if anyone else had used odesk and if you'd be willing to share your experience?

What does the recent announcement of the Elance and oDesk merger mean to freelancing online? Will this raise the stature of people currently active on those sites by giving them a wider audience?
