My father have worked for over 40 years now and he is still working...how did his manager pin him down this long?
There is nothing wrong with your father having worked 40 years.
It's quite common for most people to work that long.
It's usually 35 to 50 years.
Nobody pinned him down. He, like most people, had to work to make a living for himself and his family. Obviously he did not come from wealth....but then again, there are plenty of people who are born with riches and continue to work most of their lives.
Remember.....to thine self be true. Accept whatlife gives you and treat everyone you come in contactg with decently and fairly. Such behaviour will allow you to sleep good at night.
In the end, we all get our ' just ' reward.
Good Lord, I'm 50, been working since I as sixteen, and will be working (unfortunately) at this rate until I'm 90. God Bless your Dad.
