You contact some insurance company and apply for their agency, if they approve yours you will become an agent, so don;t stick to one insurance company, better you contact number of companies, so that you can be agent to number of companies and can satisfy your variety of customers.
You'll need to have some contacts to begin a buisness. That's one of the most important things. You will also need captial and knowledge of the buisness.
