Have you ever put a frown face on a job application?
Recently viewing application I notice someone put Fired
Can't say I have. I don't think smiley faces are the most professional forms of written communication.
It would be very unprofessional and would ,almost certainly, end any chances you might have had at landing that job. Job applications are very important........they are directly responsible for getting you through to the next step....."the interview". A silly mistake like a frown face isn't worth the risk.
Depends on the job you're going for, when I was younger and wanted a job at Ruby Tuesdays, the manager hiring me thought it was pretty funny and said it showed Personality! Some people write their applications to IT colleges in binary and get accepted for just that, some may say it is "unprofessional" but hey, its all your choice and no one can boo you for that.
