What was your first paying job, and what did you learn from it?
My first paying job was a kitchen hand. That is where i learned hard work and respected my mother as she was a chef and worked in a kitchen. Not an easy job working in a kitchen.
My first paying job was when my classmate paid me to write articles in English. After that, I have been trying to improve my English, so there are more opportunities opened.
My first job (I was fifteen years old) was as a Little League umpire in my town. I learned that parents and youth sports don't always mix very well.
Swim Instructor at the YMCA. I learned about handling 1-8 children at the same time, different methods of teaching, safety precautions, how to handle working 7 hours a day for 5 days a week at age 16.
