Nooooo! Don't do it! It can get you or your friends banned from ever having an Adsense account again.
You can, however, click on your friends' Amazon affiliate links to purchase something. That is allowed.
What helps the best, I've found, is if you look for hubs about the things you would normally shop for or look for, and then when you see an ad that you like, click on it and explore it, not just to help the hubber, but because you authentically want to look. Most people just ignore ads these days, but when you benefit from ads on the hubs, it makes ya start to pay attention to others ads as much as you want them to pay attention to yours.
Just keep in mind what SmartAndFun said, which is true - just clicking on ads to gain revenue or give revenue, can get you and/or the hubber in trouble. So click on the ads you'd actually be interested in looking at, and don't over due it
