Do you think one world, one currency concept work out ?
Just few minutes back I got some flash idea in to my mind and it was about using same currency all over the world. I was thinking about the impact of US dollar fluctuations on fuel price and on many other products. Do you think concept of one world, one currency is best solution for currency fluctuations all over the world. I personally think concept of Unified Global Currency may help developing & under developed countries who suffer a lot relatively due to currency fluctuations especially of US dollar.
Update: It seems it was already discussed in Google but not in HubPages.
No, I don't think it would work out. When I was young I thought the one currency concept would be handy for travelling, but now I've seen the consequences for the European Union and I think it would definitely not work. Some time after introducing the Euro in most of the European countries the prices of many products, that were relatively expensive or cheap in one country, have become equal with the prices with its neigbouring countries. It is an advantage when you benefit from this, but many places/stores had to close because of the equality. It is still very handy for travelling but to me that's the only good thing.
