The ads put on my hub are not my own? how do I place my own ad?
I created my first hub, which I am super stoked about, however, I see it is featured, and there are already ads up? I am not even signed up with these companies as an affiliate. I would like to pout an add up from the company I want SFI, can I do that?
You can put a text ad. Highlight the text you want linked and then click on the chain to insert or edit a link. You should not be posting banners or more than one of your own affiliate links. Most people are in the HubPages Earning Program or they use adsense. So they make money with the ads HubPages displays automatically.
If you put an ad from the company you want be careful. It needs to be related to the hub. Generally people write hubs to provide content and HubPages looks after the ads. If you don't have an adsense account yet write more hubs before applying for adsense.

In the HubPages earning program, two of these ads are displayed on articles. So why are they included at all? Do they have the advantage of generating earnings form clicks and the HubPages ads don't (or do they?)

Hi,I have other accounts here (this is my forum account). So far in the two days of Amazon earnings reports in the new HubPages-linked Amazon products, I only see products listed that I directly linked to. Usually I earn commission from products that were bought using my affiliate links...
