What am I suppose to now? The kids are grown and husbands annoying after 25 years of marriage!
Navy wife, didnt finish college, and I need to find ME again. She's in there somewhere I just know it.
Start having regular date nights with your spouse again. Rebuild the relationship from a common, loving basis.
Make a list of goals you want to accomplish. What classes do you want to take? Do you want to work in a field? Do you want to volunteer?
Well, here you are on a writing site. Why not try writing? You have a wealth of experience that could benefit others. Publish your recipes, your parenting tips, your advice for brand-new Navy wives, etc. The more you're in the habit, the more you'll start to discover what excites you, and you may find yourself with a new hobby or interest.
Offline, connect with your community. Get together for regular coffee dates with friends, volunteer at a local organization, start a book group or crafting group. Join a gym and try out some outlandish fitness classes, just for fun. Get out of the house and see other people!
It's never too late to return to studying something that interests you. I did an Open University Degree when I retired. Or try volunteering/fundraising for a charitable cause. A couple of friends and I organised a dinner dance in aid of the local hospice and air ambulance. Get a divorce if the husband annoys you too much - I did that too!
