This is the most common way to create an anchor text link that you would place on web 2.0 properties (like it was mentioned, just do a search for backlinks here and you will find tons of help)

      HTML Set Up:

      <a href="http://www.YOURSITE.com">ANCHOR TEXT</a>

This is the most common way to create an anchor text link that you would place in your signature to use on forums(not this forum though)  Just close the [] on both ends.

      BBCode Set Up:

      [ url=http:/www.YOURSITE.com]ANCHOR TEXT[/url ]

There are so many places where you can make your anchor text. Let say forum, you can create your signature; create anchor text in your signature. so whenever you reply/post , your anchor text will automatically post there.
this is how anchor text can create:
      <a href="http://www.MyWebSite.com">Desired Anchor Text</a>
Similarly write articles and post it in popular article directories like ezinearticles.com etc. But you must create your anchor text there.

This will give you backlinks in Google and other major search engines.

Try a search on HP for "backlinks." A lot of HP members have written excellent "how to" hubs on backlinking.

In forums the most popular way of creating back links is my putting a link in your signature. Be sure to use your target keywords in your anchor text as this will help. Some forums ask you to have a certain number of posts before you add links in your signature so make sure you read the forum rules first.

Yes, and if he is smart, he won't follow the kind of advice that can get you banned from Google.

Which is why I pointed him to HP 's page for GOOD advice.

    Hi,

Try to search high page rank specific forums sites related to your business site and submit regular informative content on that site.

    Thanks

It's easier if you go to Fiverr and pay $5 for someone to do it for you. Just go to Fiverr.com. Type "backlinks" in the search box. You'll find that everyone and their brother will do backlinks for you in different ways: article submission, linkwheels, SENuke, video submission, social bookmark submission, pinging, etc.

Just be sure to contact the seller first and ask questions about the gig and get an answer before you put in the order. No sense is paying $5 and sitting around twiddling your thumbs waiting because the seller was on vacation for a week.
