4 Ways To Use Your Skills And Talents To Earn Online Income

Updated on November 14, 2012

Earning an income online is becoming increasingly popular every day, just do a search for the term, “Making Money Online” in Google and you will get back all types of articles, blog post and websites dedicated to the subject, but are they all true? NO! There are a ton of scams out there that are promoting the “How to Make Money Online” Mantra so be careful not to fall for them, many will promise you overnight riches if you just buy their latest product, get into their latest club, or program.

From my experience, anyone telling you if you buy their product and literally overnight you going to strike it rich, is not worth your time. Promises of overnight riches alone should be a sign that this may be a scam. Making legitimate money online is just like any other business, it takes time and hard work, and rarely people get rich overnight doing it.

But with that said, are there real legitimate ways to make money on the Internet? Yes there are several ways you can use your talents and skills to do it. In this Article I am going to give you just 4 ways you can start TODAY using your skills to do it.

1. Article Writing

If you have knowledge, can do research of particular subjects, love to read and write and can churn out articles on a daily basis with no problem, you can succeed as an article writer and make money doing it. There is a huge market for article writing, but it’s very competitive. If you think you have what it takes, try visiting sites like elance, vworker or odesk, and do a search for writing jobs.

You can also write articles and post them to websites, such as hubpages, squidoo and ehow and many similar ones that pay writers advertising revenues for their articles, however this takes a bit more time and skill, but with dedication you can certainly do it.

2. Doing online Odd jobs

Though a large amount of time would be devoted to finding jobs, you can search the internet for odd jobs that requires your talent and skills. Again browse the elance, vworker and odesk jobs and find one that suits you. Also try Amazon’s Mechanical Turk, from which you can find low paying but easy jobs constantly. Finally, you can offer your unique talents on Fiverr, a site that allows you to make $5 for odd jobs.

3. Photography and Photo Manipulation

Are you good at art or manipulating photos? Maybe you are a photographer yourself. If you enjoy photography, you can sell stock photos at a number of sites like snapvillage, istockphoto, fotlio, shutterstock, and many others throughout the web; this can be quite profitable if you have the skills. If you are good at arts and design, search the web for those jobs. There are tons of jobs varying from creating a portrait of people, to designing pictures of cartoon characters. Also, if you are nifty with Photoshop or any photo manipulation software you can take up jobs for creating website logos or designs.

4. Surveys

Surveys are a quick and easy way to earn cash. You simply fill out a survey and either get back money or reward points which you can redeem for awards. However filling out surveys is something you would probably do while waiting on a train. You don’t earn much and there are plenty of other people that can also fill out a survey.

I have given you four ways to earn income over the Internet, the four ways simply require your skills and time. So if you are serious about making money online, give them a try. Good luck!
