1 Month on Squidoo

Updated on May 21, 2013

My First Month On Squidoo

My first month on Squidoo was awesome. I had 25 lenses and was thinking of applying for a Giant Squid. However, I had a change in heart when I decided that I must be a Giant Squid no excuses when I first applied (I didn't want to wait a month to try again). The first month on Squidoo taught me to create more lenses and as much as you can. Quality is the most important asset to a lens, but quantity is also important. You want to have a good quantity of quality, and that is my goal. My first month showed me how much money Squidoo has to offer to its members, and I will never leave Squidoo.

How I Found Squidoo

I started off as being a Red Sox fan. Yep, that's how I found Squidoo, and you can get the details right here. I love Squidoo and am glad to have found it. Squidoo offers affiliates and a good source of income for a teen on Squidoo. I found Squidoo on Valentine's Day, and Squidoo was my valentine.

I will be a Red Sox fan until the end of time.

Yugioh Cards on Amazon

Out of all of the things in the universe, I created the most Yugioh lenses and I now have over 10 of these lenses. It is never too late to play the game of Yugioh. These Structure Decks are great for beginners.

The Most Important Thing I Ever Did On Squidoo

I set a goal for myself. I made myself create 5 or more lenses a week, and ever since, the lens numbers are really adding up, and I can't wait to see June's payout. Setting goals on myself makes me do them above and beyond, and they make me more money at the same time!

How Many Lenses Did I Have

Plus A Small Story

On my first month on Squidoo, I had 25 lenses and I wanted to apply for the Level 25 Giant Squid to get a good name for myself and a good legacy considering that I applied for Giant Squid on my 1 month anniversary. However, I realized that if 1 of my lenses was a bust, it would take all of my lenses down with it. Since I rushed to create the last 5, I held off and reapplied when I had 45 lenses.

A Commonly Visited Place

A place that I commonly visited during my first month on Squidoo was the SquidU Forum. I still make frequent visits to the SquidU Forum, but I visited it like crazy during my first month on Squidoo.

2 Months

I am now 2 months old on Squidoo, and I should cash in my first couple of dollars in May. I can't wait to see what I get, and those 2 months have been an excellent journey on Squidoo.

How Much Money I Hope To Make In May

I had a few sales in March as well as 2 Tier 2 lenses at the time, so I hope to make a grand total of $20 in May. The payouts look to be bigger and more promising as the months go by, but right now I hope I get a good payday (my first one).

My First Payout

As most of you may know from the module about, I got my first payout from Squidoo. I expected to be paid along the lines of $20-$25, but I was more than delighted to have received $30.78 from Squidoo. This includes the Paypal cut and charities as well (I donated .62 to charities). I am loving the rewards on Squidoo.
