100 Hubs 100 Days - HubPages Personal Challenge

Updated on November 13, 2014

I have set myself a personal challenge. In fact it is probably the first personal challenge I have ever set myself and I am just shy of 40.

This challenge is to write and publish 100 content-rich hubs in 100 (non consecutive) days. A challenge that in itself feels daunting to me but hey what are challenges for if not to push you out of your comfort zone.

I am a mum to a 3 year old toddler and a 5 month old baby. To say I am time poor is an understatement however I also believe that the more activities one has in their day, the more productive you are. It is all about time management and in this case research and inspiration to generate interesting, informative, content-rich and useful hubs.

Social Media - Facebook and Pinterest

I have decided to put myself 'out there' and publish my personal challenge on my facebook page '100 Hubs in 100 Days'.

Maybe also my plan will inspire someone else to join me. Sign up to HubPages yourself. It is Free. Write some articles. Maybe you can earn some money too. Maybe it will inspire someone to create their own plan. Their own personal plan.

And why facebook? Well again the power of social media, sharing my plan with family and friends, can help give me some much needed help if I fall off the rails.

Pinterest is also a huge favourite of mine so if you are on Pinterest, follow my boards as I pin some great how do guides and information there also!

Blogging

As a means of recording all of the hubs published, any accolades I receive and any of the competitions I participate in, I have also set up a blog called 'HubChallenge'.

HubNugget Winner

I have been overwhelmed with the fact that two of my hubs not only were nominated for the HubNugget award but also Winners.

The first one was 'Letter Writing, Does anyone Write Letters Anymore?" and the second was 'Why does an apple a day keep the doctor away'

Health and Wellbeing Hubs

I am also a crazy chocoholic and try to be healthy so I have a range of hubs that cover my favourite recipes and juices.

Hub Topics

The topics I plan to write on are varied but are relevant to my knowledge base which I believe it important.

For the most part, hubs will relate to eBay. As an eBay Trading Assistant I have helped many people buy and sell over 10 years and I believe I have a lot to share.

So far I have published

I will be collating a huge list of the information I have learnt along the way and will be publishing that at the end of this challenge.

Your own challenge?

Are you interested in joining me? Starting your own challenge? Or are you mid-way through a challenge? Please share it below as I would LOVE to be inspired by your successes and learn from your ways.

I've read two of your hubs, and both look great. It is clear that you are not writing hubs simply to meet the quantity requirements, but are focusing on providing good quality content-rich information.

I wish you the best on your challenge. I have participated in this challenge and was successful, so I can tell you it is not an impossible task. The trick is to stay on track and not run behind, and even try to get ahead if you can, because there isn't much time to catch up if you do get behind.

Thank you so much for your vote of confidence. I look at my first hubs already and cringe. That proves how much I have learnt already. I'm new to this but loving it on so many levels. Thankyou for your support.

Hi WAHM, I noticed you have 64 Hubs written in only 2 months; that's awesome. I finally reached 100 Hubs yesterday, and it was truly a challenge. When doing a 100 hubs challenge, we have to remember to keep quality content in each hub. Voted up.
