First Hubpages Payment

Updated on February 6, 2013

Finally, after three months of hubbing and fighting off my laziness, I finally reached the minimum payout by the month of April. By April, I earned more than $50 on Hubpages ad program.

I tried to post about one hub a day but I can't keep up with it as there are days that I have work at night too so all the time I have would be to take some sleep so I can be ready for my another night shift job. But still, whenever I have time I would still visit Hubpages, comment back, and stroll around even if I can't hub. Or, I would start a draft and just finish and publish it later on, just for me to at least had something started.

I had slowed down on hubbing for the month of April and this month, May. Last April was because I had done night shift for about two weeks aside from my day job and also because of writers block. I just can't think of what else to write about.

But for the month of May, still the same reason and I would say my laziness got into me when I saw that my traffic went down significantly, and that is getting about 30 to 50 visitors a day from having about almost 500 visitors in a day which had affected my earnings. With the almost 500 visitors, I am earning $1 a day and some lucky days I earn more than that but with the visitors I'm having as of now, I can barely earn .50/day.

Anyway, I decided to go log in to my Paypal account the other night as I was expecting some money coming in from Hubpages, and I was just so happy to see it was there already. With my Paypal having $10 and some cents, now it was $62.97 in total.

There's the $52.71 money from hubbing. Now this inspires me to make more hub and just continue on hubbing!

What did I do with the money?

Since my Paypal balance wasn't enough for the water pump I wanted from Ebay, and it would take few more days before my bank transfer goes through, I had used some of the money to purchased the water pump so I can start our home made bamboo fountain working.

And for the record of my past three months, here's how my earnings went.

And like as I had mentioned in one of my hubs before, I had been a Hubpages member for 2 years but I was inactive and decided to make some hub and give it a try, January of this year. And since I got back to Hubpages 28th of January, the month was almost finish, I only earned .72 cents.

January, 2012: .72 cents

February: $6.15

March: 21.29

April: $24.53

May: 18.37

As tonight while writing this hub, I have $18.37 earnings, so I could say for the month my total earning would be almost $19 as like I said, my traffic had decreased significantly.

It was far for what I am aiming for the month, like reaching the $2 a day, but since I hasn't been active, I'd say this is what I get.

And with hubbing, I would just stick into creating hubs and learn more ways on how to improve Hubpages earnings. There's other hubbers here that serves as inspirations and they share tips and ways they use to improve their Hubpages earning experience.
