How To Generate Money With The HubPages Earnings Program

I know you guys are going to ask me this sooner or later. For the record, I also asked myself for sometime on this matter. Why HubPages earnings program and less focus on Google Adsense? First thing about Google Adsense for me is it is purely luck. Of course, we are talking about 500 or less traffic a day. Anything more than 500, will mean good chance of getting at least one click a day.

What you required to have HubPages Earnings Program running?

• Google Adsense account (compulsory)
• Good hubs with moderate to high quality keywords
• HubPages account (no-brainer right? :D )

HubPages Earnings Program is not a get-rich-fast scheme. In fact, you should actually consider it as an addon to your HubPages earning daily or monthly. You are not looking at a big amount here daily and at times, a single Google Adsense click could easily overtake your daily HubPages Earnings program multiple times.

Before you jump the gun, think again on how often do you actually get a click on your Google Adsense ads? For me, I rarely get a click on Google Adsense for Content but I do get a few through feeds etc. Comparing between both Adsense and HubPages earnings program, Hubpages is offering a small but stable income daily while Google Adsense is offering a high but 50-50 chance of generating revenue.

I will choose HubPages Earnings Program anytime of the day compared to Adsense honestly. I am more towards a stable income gainer instead of a high but once in a while earning. I experienced before that (on daily basis) my website has a constant 50+ traffic, blog has about 20+ traffic, and HubPages has about 120+ traffic and yet, I am not getting any clicks on my ads. Call it luck or quality keywords is definitely your choice but I feel that for those newcomers and low to moderate traffic gainers, you are much more 'guaranteed' for payment with HubPages earnings program. Am I saying that HubPages earning program is better than Adsense? No! I am just saying that we could focus more on HubPages programs compared to others.

Let me be completely honest and open to you all. No one actually know how the calculation are done here and I am just writing from my experience. I believe earning is done differently when it comes to topic and thus, my calculation will be based on th topics I write most which are:

• Backlinking guide
• Google Adsense topics
• Blogging and website writing
• Freelancing
• Anythnig about being an online writer

With the said 5 topics above, I am getting at an average of $ 3.80 per 1,000 views. Not bad considering that these articles will be visible forever until HubPages decided to bring them down. There is always possibilities that you might just earn lower or even higher than what I am earning to be frank.

Well, of course, you start with writing good stuff first. For starters, I really recommend writing something that you have experience with. Of course, you could take the challenge and even write topics that you have no idea on as long as you have an idea of what you are doing. Make sure you have the right content and even graphics to attract your visitors for more. Do not underestimate how much picture, video and table images can attract your visitors.

Once you are done with that, always find ways to increase your traffic. When you write articles for example, make sure you stick to the 400 or more words rule to get indexed by Google and other search engines. Language and grammar checkings are vital to get yourself more chance of returning visitors.

Last but not least, you can improve your traffic to hubs simply by communication with your commentors. Always appreciate their feedback and reply as they are the one who are giving you traffic. When you communicate with them, you are projecting yourself as an interactive writer who cares of the readers and visitors all along.
