Hubbers Who Have Been My Support System: Installment Fourteen
I need to apologize to all of you. I nearly forgot about this series of Hubs because I was so busy concentrating on another series that I just started. Not a very good excuse but it’s the only one I have. When you reach my ripe old age (isn’t that an ugly term) you might understand.
This is installment fourteen of this series in which I attempt, in some small way, to give back to those who have been so kind as to support me since I came to HubPages. In no way can I highlight everyone who has supported me. To do that I would need to do one of these Hubs daily, and although some believe I am a prolific writer, I’m just not that prolific. Besides, Bev demands some of my time to actually, you know, visit with her. She’s fairly insistent on that point and I learned long ago not to argue with my love. Get her mad and she may slip some Niacin in my food and then laugh while my blood boils.
So here we go! To those I have not mentioned yet, please be patient. I know you are out there. Heck, in a very real sense, you are the reasons why I write. I love the human connections that I make on HubPages. You are my window to the world. You are my kindred spirits who understand that which drives me to do what I do daily. You are…..my friends!
GRANDMOTHER OF EIGHT AND A NICE PERSON

Audrey is her name and she is so much more than vocalcoach on HubPages. To many Hubbers she is a rock-solid support system, a person who always has a kind word, a strong supporter of newcomers and simply a quality human being.

As is sometimes the case, there are Hubbers who fall through my personal cracks, people who have been with me for quite some time, but who, for whatever reason, get left behind in this series. Robie2 is one of those people and I feel bad about it.
I have found Roberta to be insightful, intelligent and in possession of a great sense of humor. Now it is time to turn our attention to four relatively new Hubbers, or at the very least new to my site. The first is Beckie, or shiningirisheyes to those of you on HubPages. There are certain people who come into our lives and it’s as if we have known them for decades. There is an instant bond that is formed. It may be similarities from the past, or commonalities in writing style, or whatever. The fact is that almost right out of the gate you like them, they like you, and a friendship is formed. Rather remarkable considering you never meet that person face to face.
One such person in my life is Beckie. She writes poetry, fiction, reflective pieces, and every single one of them is stamped with her beautiful persona. Life has not always been kind to this young lady but she exudes a positive attitude and I will be her loyal follower forever and a day. GEORGIE LOWERY IS OUR NEXT GUEST
Georgie writes about rock groups I have never heard of; she is not even remotely in my neighborhood with regards to age. In fact, I’m not sure what we have in common, but I sure do like her. She has been effusive in her praise and gratitude for my following her; little does she know that I find quality people very easy to follow.

I recently lost track of three of Julie’s recent Hubs. That didn’t stop her from reading my latest. That’s loyalty, folks! It didn’t faze her that I hadn’t been by in a few days. She wasn’t keeping score. She was simply following someone who she is faithful to on HubPages. I think that says quite a bit about her, don’t you?
I LOVE THIS WOMAN’S NAME
And what is that name you ask? Trinity M. is this Hubbers name and I’m being completely serious when I tell you that this is one of the nicest people I have met in the seven months I’ve been on HubPages. Her comments are so honest, so heartwarming and so supportive, that she has me twisted around her little finger.
She only has 58 followers as of this writing and I think that’s ridiculous. First thing I noticed about Trinity when I read her first hub was that she actually understands grammar in the English language. Second thing I noticed is that she has a good writer’s voice. Third, and most importantly, I noticed that she is not phony at all, that she genuinely cares about people.

NUMBER FIFTEEN IS IN THE MAKING
Of course I have left people out, but it was never intentional. I will highlight every single one of the people who follow me loyally; you just have to be patient until I get around to you. Why do I do it? Because to me writing is all about the human connection. I write to reach out and touch my readers, and I read the works of others for the same reason. We live in a society that is becoming more and more isolated and quite frankly I hate that. I want my readers to know me as a person; in turn, I want to know them.
This series is my way of saying thank you for allowing me into your lives and for giving me a glimpse at yours. It means the world to me and you are all, each and every one of you, special to me.
