Link to She Told Me and Increase Your AdSense Revenue

Updated on February 20, 2012

Backlinks from Shetoldme

If you write articles on Hubpages or any other adsense sharing sites for that matter, you will soon want to create backlinks by bookmarking your articles to drive the much needed traffic to your pages.

Shetoldme is one of my favourite sites, it really is so easy to promote your article once you are up and running. Most importantly it is a Dofollow site, which means that Google will recognize the link and follow it to the site in order to give it a boost in ranking.

So what is Shetoldme?

Shetoldme

Shetoldme. is a website where members can post new stories or links and share 100% adsense revenue with the site owners and their referrals. A short look at the site shows links and posts placed between ads, almost similar to Digg.com.Based on a response email you will receive upon signup, it states that it may take two weeks to verify your account to complete your membership. This gives the impression that shetoldme is very careful and selective with screening its members, the reason could because their services are so excellent compared to other sites providing free membership and instant approval. Further, this practice suggests that membership in such a site is a privilege you should not dare to miss. What’s more, this apparent selectiveness gives an air of promise that this site can provide a good promise of generating good content.

Concerning website design, sheltodme scores good points with their site previews and animated displays. The interface shows promise of greater improvements to come. Web design seems focused on giving a framework for making clever use of Javascript for a more interactive feel. The site appeals to members who are willing to link or republish stories and web posts and at the same time willing to collaborate with a third party to share advertising revenue. The approach in posting seems very open and free of standards. This approach, if taken in the right context, can result to an improved quality in site content. There is also the possibility that shetoldme can compete with other similar sites using the same business model.

This site may help members maximize advertising revenue. Do you believe in putting every blog post to a vote on the internet page? The site is seeking a balance between posting advertisements and generating good content. The site’s strategy is to amass a critical number of votes so a member’s posts can make it to the front page, which is definitely advantageous to posters who can reel in a bigger fan base. Theoretically, the site looks like a combination of RSS feed and a voting feature to encourage better (or more relevant) site content. This can be useful for benchmarking a few sites on a limited scale or scope.Alexa.com ranks traffic for this site at 1874 overall with its 58654 daily page views.

Overall, the site shetoldme can be useful for limited research or post comparisons. In addition, there are opportunities to scale up to a bigger scope, and as such, the site can achieve greater reach to improve link exposure. The site is one of those places in the web that give more opportunities for members to delve into added revenue, that is, if they are also willing to participate in democratizing posted content. There is a large market for this genre of interaction and just needs to more awareness to the bigger web audience.

That is awesome Timon, Congratulations! Its great to read when somoene reaches a goal like that as it gives people the encouragement that they too can reach similar goals (if they put in the effort).I've just lost my job which is a bad bad thing, but it is also good because it means now I have more time to devote to my own websites and my own goals.Well done on reaching your goal !!
