My Third Month at Hubpages
This third month I was not nearly as active. I was laid off my job on August 4th and have been spending a lot of time doing both job searching and house cleaning/tidying/renovating, taking advantage of the time off. I've published only 13 hubs this month of which 5 Movies whose lead actress I found most attractive received the most traffic after My Second Month at Hubpages. It appears that people are really keen to see how I am doing so that they can compare it to how they are doing. Or should I rephrase this: It appears that you are keen to see how I am doing to compare to how you are doing.
My job search is going well, I'm reasonably qualified and have had some interviews with a few more scheduled, so I'm not worried about finding work. Plus, I had a generous severance package as I had been working for fourteen years at my previous employer, so I am not pressured to accept the first offer I receive. I'll be writing a job search hub in September which I can write based on my own experience.
My accolades are identical to last month save for the one to the right which shows that I have now published 50 hubs - I'm up to 57 (including this one). My all time best hub which has almost 1000 more views than the next best is How I raise my hubscore. Indeed, this is my most evergreen and useful hub for the hubbers out there. I'll be setting aside some time blocks over the next few weeks to try and get back to a higher hub count to see if this will help my traffic and revenue.
Another thing to mention is that my hubscore rose to as high as 96 during this month. Odd that in a month of low activity my score should rise like that. It is 94 as I publish this hub.
In terms of traffic and revenue, this month I've had 1590 pageviews, 425 HubAd Impressions, $1.57 of HubAd revenue, 882 Adsense views and 3 clicks giving me $1.74 for a total of $3.31.
For all time I have had 4701 pageviews, 1047 HubAd impressions, $3.87 of HubAd revenue, 2154 Adsense views and 5 clicks giving me $5.84 for a total of $9.71.
It really shows that with a slow down in publishing and a slow down in reading other hubs to get visits back again, the traffic will slow. Staying active in the hubsphere is key.
