Hubpages - Share and Earn

How to Write and Make Money from Hubpages

Copy of page views taken at an earlier part of the day

Towards evening it shot upto 395
Towards evening it shot upto 395

When Brett. Tesolpublished a hub “Do You Like to Share? Let's Help Everyone Get More Readers!” inviting fellow hubbers to read and share each other’s hub, I missed out it in the initial few days. When I could find time to read the hub, I found it interesting. I felt that he is reminding us the lesson learned in kindergarten. SHARE, SHARE, SHARE……..

So I started sharing other’s hubs following his idea. I used to look for hubbers sharing other’s hubs and started sharing their hubs. Many of my fellow hubbers responded and I was watching a temporary increase in the number of page views.

Following this, J. S. Matthewpublished a hub on “Why Do I Keep Seeing "Thanks for SHARING"in Many Great Comments On Hubs Lately?”

I commented on that hub and shared it. He responded by sharing my hub on “Confident children” to reddit.com.

Then came the bombshell. In a day the number of page views increased from 60 to 395. For many of you with an established traffic, this may be something insignificant. But to me it was like winning a lottery. I had doubts; probably it is a temporary phenomenon, still I was ecstatic all throughout the day.

My children complained “Mommy, You are getting addicted to Hubpages. How many times do you want to see your page views?”

They did not understand my joy of watching escalating page views.

I will be failing in my responsibility as a hubber if I don’t share this and acknowledge the role played by my fellow hubbers in giving me this happiness. My special thanks to Britt. Tesol for the idea on sharing and J. S. Matthew for carrying it forward.

Hubpages How To Get Started And Monetize Your Hubs

Thanks for everything

I have also noticed that my page views per day fluctuate somewhere between 180 and 200 now. I receive the maximum number of page views from Vote of thanks. Another hub on Colicky painis also showing signs of sprouting. The other two hubs which do fairly well are about reducing pimples on face and rubber wood furniture. If it is continued at this rate, I may hit the target of 10,000 early March.

I take this opportunity to profoundly thank all my friends who has viewed, voted, commented and shared my hubs and helped me come up to this stage.
