The Prestigious Lollipop Award #7 on HubPages. . .goes to . . . ImKarn23!

Don't you feel all warm-fuzzy when someone takes time from a busy, important schedule to spread some glow and sugar on an otherwise sometimes tedious world OR on his own corner of the world of Hubpages? Well, that is what our Chris in Hawaii did when he instituted the "Unofficial HubPages Lollipop Award" for special Hubbers chosen and awarded by current holders of the prestigious award!

The person receiving the Lolipop Award is someone who epitomizes all that is good about unique Hubpages experience and membership, someone who is an active participant, a giver, a sharer ; someone who fills his or her spot on Hubpages meaningfully and fully; someone who simply is not a taker because that's not his/her nature.

It's a fun award, though; - not a big-ole-serious-ponderous thing! It's meant always to exemplify the joy and fun of being here among fellow writers of every ilk, sharing the spirit of mutual respect, support and delight upon which Hubpages is built.

Thinking of many outstanding folks among my circle of special Hubbers who deserve it, selecting just one was NOT so easy! Found myself wishing I could award a canister of lollipops! Remember when the 'corner store' always had a big glass canister filled with colorful lollipops sitting on the counter? Often the store-owner would slip a 'free' one to a kid who was there with a parent shopping, or even there alone trying to choose how to spend a sticky penny or nickel? What fun to be 'awarded' one of those lollipops!

I'm thinking that there's something VERY special about the #7. Seems a magical number. So it's only fitting that Lollipop Awardee #7 must be someONE who is especially magical. OH, yes. . . . that, she is!

Our #7 is as sophisticated in her awareness as she is childlike in her idealism and sense of wonder! If she traveled the 7 seas in the good ship Lollipop, she would not exhaust her ability to be ever entranced by the beauty of faraway places, but horrified at desperation of the downtrodden. Her passion and strength: - that she truly sees possibilities for helping those to whom help has been denied and for bringing hope where there is hopelessness, starting where she is, wielding the power of words.

This person is someone with more verve in her little finger than most folks have in their whole being most of the time!

She's vital, vivacious, energetic, passionate, perky, spicy. . . Did I mention enthusiastic? There's nary a just cause she won't address directly and cleanly-with-no-hum-hawing, to bring it to our attention. Her passion for justice is unexcelled and unrelenting.

Her quick wit and wry humor, likewise! Being rather uninhibited by stuffy rules (understatement alert!), - she jumps on a subject like a mermaid riding a dolphin and steers it to its destination, whether it's our consciousness, consciences, or funny-bones.

She's oblivious to nay-sayers as she carries her causes home. I wonder at times if she wakes up in high gear! But never mind that; - she's always in high gear and in her driver's seat when she's writing and intermingling with her fellow writers here and wherever we cross paths!

She's as cute as a lollipop, too. People love her for all her qualities - brightness, fearlessness, conviction, fun-loving joy of living - and she's gorgeous, besides.

It' s been my pleasure to know her ever since I had the opportunity to 'test her metal' and find that she's as true-blue through and through under an occasionally rambunctious exterior as anyone I've met here in Hubpages. I'm not alone in that opinion. She is beloved and admired by many!

Maybe you'd expected announcement of who she is by now, as if you couldn't have aready guessed, just from her description!

But I'll spare you further suspense or speculation! Of course. . . .
