The Stats Button - Tweak Your Tags

Hello Hubbers,

I came across a Hub that shared their view using the stats button on your published Hubs. I never thought of using the stats button to see what keywords, phrases and search engines were bringing visitors and traffic to my Hubs.

Many of us article writers understand the importance of using the best fitting keywords/tags to increase visitors to our Hubs. Using the best fitting keywords/tags help our Hubs get indexed to Search Engines but more importantly attract targeted traffic. Visitors who are searching for the specific topic and that is why using the best fitting Keywords/tags matter.

How to use the stats button to find the best targeted keywords/tags.

Sign into your account, click on My Account by placing your cursor over your username for several choices will populate and then you will see the words My Account . Clicking on the My Account will bring you to your list of Hubs. Choose a Hub by clicking on the Hubs Title not the Edit button. When the Hub is open you will see at the top the words edit, stats, delete and suggest links . Click on the stats button to view where your traffic comes from. If you click on the words Day, Week, Month and Total you will be able to view where your traffic comes from. If you click on the word Keywords you will be able to view Words That Appear In Searches But Not In Your Title.

Take the time to tweak and edit your Hubs keywords/tags AND try your best to use the keywords/tags within your Hub's content. I'm not suggesting overloading or stuffing your Hub's content with targeted keywords/tags but try your best to use them a couple of times throughout your content. When Search Engine robots spider your Hub's content, the robot will take notice that your keywords/tags are used within your Hub's content and having the targeted keywords/tags within your Hub's content does help the Search Engine index your Hub. Think of a Search Engine as your public library. When you go to the library you need to look up the subject or title of a book in order to locate it on the shelf. Now do you understand better?

Using the Suggest Link feature can help your Hub get indexed to the Search Engines too. You will see the Suggest Link button where you go to use the Stats button. The Suggest Link button makes it easy for you to find Hubs that are relative to your Hub's topic. Having Hubs that link to your Hub that have relevancy does help with Search Engine indexing and can help with Search Engine page ranking.

When you use the Suggest Link feature, you will notice words throughout your Hub's content that become highlighted. Place your cursor over the highlighted word then left click your mouse. A list of suggested Hubs will populate for you to choose the Hub of your choice. Most of the suggested Hubs share relevancy to your Hub's topic.

There are dozens of practices to follow to help get your Hubs indexed to the correct category to Search Engines and help them receive a higher page ranking too. If you continue to practice proven techniques and methods to help increase targeted traffic to your Hubs, articles, blogs and websites, you should start to notice an increase of revenue earned at a faster pace. Eventually you start to earn more money faster. Creating residual income writing online does not happen over night but it does eventually start to happen.
