How long did it take you to start recieving traffic to your hubs outside of hubpages?
Currently I am at 245 visitors after 12 days and all of these are from the hubpages community.
It took about 1 week. I began throwing my URL around the Internet and that started pushing a little traffic through. I don't use SEO or other means to really drive my traffic. I am pretty laid back. I am sure a lot more could be driven this way if I only knew how
245 visitors in 12 days is very good. the main traffic you want though is from search engines ... for which you might need some Seo techniques... have a look at google adwords to apply the right keywords/tags on your hubs... also as mary says ... copy paste your hub links on google to get your url on the google database.

When it was first introduced I was annoyed by it but made an effort to tweak my hubs to get them out of Idle status. Now, a whole load have got zzs against them again and many of them are hubs that at one point were very successful and even now still have scores above 70 or higher. One of the hubs...
