It does matter if it's my own hub or another's. Crashes it completely sometimes - wipes whatever I had open. Other times will reload pages only to crash it. Only seems to happen when viewing hubs with a lot of comments. Getting more than frustrating!

Would that also be the case for an IPhone? I don't have an issue with our laptop (windows not mac) only with iPhone.
Older iPhones do have less memory than newer ones.
