Hi Chuck. I have just signed on to HubPages. Do you have any advice for the beginner?
I want to make money doing this. Do you have any great suggestions for beginning success?
I hear Check telling you to start writing first and ask question after.
Hi there!
Welcome to HubPages!
First of all, sign up for Adsense, Amazon and Kontera to start earning. However, signing up does not mean that you will definitely earn money but you will (after some time).
Secondly, writing is great but you need to be patience. Money will flow in slowly but surely.
Third, write quality content, have a bout 400 words or more (1,000 words are better), remember to put inportant keywords (tags) and finally, try to promote your other articles by using the Link capsules.
Lastly, if you need any help, throw me a question and I will be glad to assist you in anyway possible!
Good luck and glad you joined HubPages!
I've only been on Hubpages a couple of weeks, but I have discovered a treasure trove of useful advice and information here. As for advice, it is no different than anywhere else on the web. To be successful, just remember this word: QUALITY. Think of the word like a magnet: QUALITY keywords + QUALITY content = QUALITY traffic, QUALITY backlinks, and QUALITY RESULTS. Just look at any successful hub or site and they all share that core idea. Don't try blackhat, don't try shortcuts, and don't try get-rich schemes. Sew the seeds of QUALITY slowly and wisely....later you will be surprised at the results.

Hey guys, i think HubPages is losing it's rank on Google, i have multiple accounts here and all are experiencing decreased traffic by 50% !!! . Anyone experiencing similar problems? Or did Google introduce any new algorithms?

When it was first introduced I was annoyed by it but made an effort to tweak my hubs to get them out of Idle status. Now, a whole load have got zzs against them again and many of them are hubs that at one point were very successful and even now still have scores above 70 or higher. One of the hubs...

Hi, I'm fairly new here so you'll have to forgive me if my question appears somewhat naive. I was hoping someone could tell me, if a hubber reaches, lets say, 500 hubs, will these hubs continue to bring in an income even if the hubber stops writing for six months or more? (A never ending recurring...

As everyone knows (unless they have been on a mountainside in Outer Mongolia without their laptop) Google has penalized HP quite hard during their recent updates - one of the major issues is that of low quality articles/hubs on the site bringing down the site as a whole. So now HP is making many...
