How to improve my hubs to increase Adsense revenue?

My latest and best hubs (4 hubs on Samsung Epic & Appleā€™s new iPods) are attracting some traffic. Checking my Adsense account, the 4 hubs have 250 pages impressions in the last 7 days. However, I got 5 clicks that worth $0.47-$1.73 and totaling $3.5. Is this normal? In which area(s) should I improve my hubs? Traffic, keywords, content, or something else! I would appreciate your advise.

This is the age old question I have been asking for six months myself.  All the suggestions given me I have tried, none have worked yet.  I'll check back to see if any work for you.

Google, Hubpages and Adsense do make the bulk of the money but in turn they give us sites (like HP) to be able to earn money as well. It's not huge but patience along with good articles does pay off. Try not to stress about the money side and just enjoy the writing.

The earnings of $3.50 for 250 impressions is very good indeed.  If you had that kind of action on 100 hubs, you would be earning about $100 a week.   I would be pleased with that.    Generally, from what I gather, 1000 impressions returning $5 is about average.   Currently, 250 impressions is returning about $1 for me.  You are way ahead of me.

you can also write on article directories and backlink them to your hubs that are doing well, or you can use social media sites from, shetoldme, xomba, redgage and twitter, I have heard these sources are a great help for getting more visitors to your hubs.

I think it would be greatly beneficial if you could get your Hub Pages article ranked on Google for your keywords. You have to put quality content in your articles and have it recognized as an authoritative resource for the topic.

Generate organic search engine traffic to your article, promote it on social bookmarking sites, and provide people with what they came to your article for.

Take a peak at some of the SEO hubs here and apply that logic to your writing.

    Good luck in your endeavor!

I'm also averaging only around $5/1000 impression. Would say that you are doing a good job.
