Why do my page views and my impression numbers never match up?

Whenever I check my numbers, my impression numbers are usually way less than my page view numbers.  Shouldn't they be the same or even close?

First, your page views on Hubpages are on a ROLLING 24 hours. On Google Analytics and Adsense they're on a static 24 hours.

Secondly, impressions are different than views. Views are any views on your hubs. Impressions are any views where YOUR adverts are showing. So your impressions should be about 60% of your views.

I'm not sure what you mean about "adverts showing".  I thought ads showed on every page... please advise me, and thanks for the info.

Ads do show on every page. However sometimes they are not your adverts. Hubpages takes 40% of ad impressions.

Plus adverts don't show on the hopper or if a user is using an ad blocker.
