Okay, that was funny. What did you want to talk about. I'm glad I went to the bathroom or I'd have been waiting in the hall outside forever.

Faybe Bayposted 12 years agoin reply to this

Okay, so I started a series to help people make money on line and I got a lot more attention than I expected, so I started following the commenters back and following, like ya do. One girl writes about dating so I told her she should join a dating site and then post links over there back to her Hubpages profile, ya know like ya do as a signature...

  2. Faybe Bay profile image68
    Faybe Bayposted 12 years ago

Anyway, she thanked me and I thought, ya know what I better go check out that dating site just in case it was a bad idea. It was all free, took an hour to get all set up. Then I went back to my normal online life. A couple hours later I checked my e-mail and I had 10 e-mails from the dating site.

  3. Faybe Bay profile image68
    Faybe Bayposted 12 years ago

I went in and replied to all the mail and went out, deleted the e-mails and suddenly I had like fifteen more e-mails. The site is called Plenty of Fish and it took me about four hours to get away from all those guys cuz I don't like to be rude. They were e-mailing me, checking the "want to meet" me box, opening chats which you already know I don't know how to use. I started to think I was the only girl. They should call it Plenty of Sharks.

see I killed this one too, it's just what I do, I guess you had to be there to see me trying to keep the two on Instant chat happy, while going back and forth with four other guys who were trying to get together NOW, That night! and two sending me their phone numbers telling me to call them when I want to meet. I haven't dated but maybe six or seven total times, dates I mean, not men. I get anxiety just thinking about going to my e-mail.

I am a Libra, and so weigh things over in my mind before I act; I procrastinate way too much! I love to write and always dreamed of being published. Now I am thanks to Hubpages. I have also been lucky enough to get an article in TV FILM NEWS, I'm excited. I've been invited back to do another...." Fine with that... big_smile

I'm looking at getting a Yaris hybrid. Have had a Prius the last three years, but it is rather too big for my comfort. It all depends whether the financial inducements on offer are enough to tempt me into buying a new car, since it is too recent for secondhand ones to be available. Going by the figures published, I would bump my mpg up from the 60-65 I get with the Prius to 80-90, which is very tempting!

Mines not new by any stretch of the imagination, Writeangled. It's four years old but about town I'm getting approx 50 mpg and between 55-60mpg on a run. Just over £60 per year road tax, cheap car insurance and it's a nice little drive. I'm really pleased with it. I'd been driving Fiats for years prior to getting this one, and frankly, there's no comparison.

On the first part of the journey,
I was looking at all the life.
        There were plants and birds, and rocks and things;
There was sand and hills and rings.
The first thing I met was a fly with a buzz,
And the sky with no clouds.
The heat was hot and the ground was dry,
But the air was full of sound.

I've been through the desert with a dog with no name.
It felt good to be out of the rain.
In the desert you can remember your name,
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain.

        La, la ...

After two days in the desert sun,
My skin began to turn red.
After three days in the desert fun,
I was looking at a river bed.
And the story it told of a river that flowed,
Made me sad to think it was dead.

You see I've been through the desert with a dog with no name.
It felt good to be out of the rain.
In the desert you can remember your name,
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain.

        La, la ...

After nine days I let the dog run free,
'Cause the desert had turned to sea.
There were plants and birds and rocks and things.
There was sand and hills and rings
The ocean is a desert with its life underground,
        And a perfect disguise above.
Under the cities lies a heart made of ground,
But the humans will give no love.

You see I've been through the desert with a dog with no name.
It felt good to be out of the rain.
In the desert you can remember your name,
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain.
