Over the last week I have noticed that the HubPages Ad Program CPM has been changed downwards significantly retrospectively. I know that adjustments are normally made but this is quite excessive, losing me over $20 in the last week after it is adjusted. If the CPM is just a guess then please don't post the figures until you have something more accurate, it is really disappointing to see earnings downgraded by this very significant (to me!) amount after the fact.
They give preliminary estimates because otherwise people complain about delays. They will get complaints either way.
Isn't THAT the truth. They can't win. While I like to see the "estimates" I'm never surprised if they go down - I know quite well those numbers are only estimates, and only as good as the information HP has collected at the time they are given us. Sometimes good info, sometimes poor.
I have to admit I'd rather just receive the finalised figure.

Pretty frustrating when I get a significant traffic spike only to see CPM values plummet. My Google Analytics stay steady for the most part as far as page time, bounce rate and things of that nature. Why does this...
