After nearly two years of effort, my daily views had climbed to the dizzy heights of around 350 a day but about two months ago they dropped overnight to 25 or so. apart from one rally about two weeks ago ( they went up to two hundred and something for about two days) they have dropped again to less than 10% of what they were - Is it just me? I always try to follow the guidelines to the letter, but that does not seem to have done any good. After two years of effort, writing and creative output I'm beginning to think that Hubpages are not worth continuing with.
Have you read all the forum posts about Penguins and Panda's Gaizy?
A lot of Hubbers, myself included, have experienced a considerable drop in traffic, especially since the latest update of 27 Sept.
I had a quick browse of your hubs and they seem well written, so it would be a shame just to give up. How about doing some more keyword research and seeing if you can pick up some additional traffic from long tail keyword phrases?
Naturally, there's social media although, given the recent ban imposed by Pin Interest I'm not entirely sure how reliable this will be long term.
Are many of your hubs in idle mode? Perhaps a little refresh might help.
I should add a note of caution and advise against radically altering all of your hubs in one hit. Perhaps update one or two, to use as a benchmark, to see if the changes were positive. Google is extremely temperamental at the moment and there are a lot of unhappy Hubbers out there!
Best of luck with this!
My views have also crashed from around 25 or so/day to only 2 views in the last day and a half. My best performing hub has dropped off page 1 and is now on page 2 when googling the primary search terms. However, my other top hubs have held their positions on google so I really don't know what's going on. For me the crash coincided with the removal of our idle hubs from our profile pages. I don't see how that would affect search engine views though... Maybe no one is interested in my topics right now. At any rate, I've been working a lot of overtime with no chance to write new hubs in awhile. Hopefully eventually I'll be able to start writing again. Wondering if it will matter though.
Blame on Google

I am experiencing an overall average off 66 percent less page views per day, for seven days versus a week previous and for the past two months. Such a huge drop in page views makes me think that Google has tuned up something again. I do know that I don't have the time and energy to keep...

I was on a 100 two days ago, then realising that my Groups were in a bit of a muddle I spent two hours sorting them out last night, adding them to the right hubs etc, now for the first time in two years I have dropped to 90! what the heck? anybody else seen this?

It continues to baffle me how the Hubs I've written with the least amount of effort and attention to detail end up being the highest scoring Hubs out of all my content. Every time I write a Hub my score upon featured status is immediately around 65 and my scores never dip below that, rarely do they...

Bye bye traffic! My account has dropped from ~3000 views per day to 1700 (and still dropping). At least 1/3 of that traffic is from Pinterest.Google, what are you doing?

Hello Everyone. I have a question that I'm hoping some of you with experience can help me with. Two weeks ago I built this new profile to cover a niche topic that I know quite a lot about and go along with my budding YouTube Channel. I'm trying to create quality hubs focusing on 1300+ word articles...
