Hey at least they are being affected as well as Hubpages. Was thinking they were untouchable in comparison.

Yep, if The Squids really do get tanked, I wonder what we can conclude and extrapolate from that. Example, is it just a singular issue with them or are all writer sites in big trouble?

Squidoo benefited from the kicking HP recently got.

The spammers noticed and flooded them with (even more) crap.

    Then Google noticed.

Fortunately, since I discovered Hilary Clinton is a shape shifting lizard - I no longer give a crap.

Now I understand the V thing a lot better. Which ship did she come off? The one in the 70's or the recent reboot?

Mark's statement makes a lot of sense, could very well be the real deal.

Change the perspective ever so slightly and things look a little different. This graph shows HP from January 1st of this year to date by week (global):

Here's Squidoo's graph using the same parameters:

Perhaps the dip on Squidoo's graph foretells of bad things to come, or maybe it was just due to a combination of the holiday, the upcoming election and the storm on the east coast. Stay tuned... smile
