Maybe this is temporary but in Internet Explorer, videos do not appear on HubPage. I went to upload a picture and it said to upgrade Adobe. So I went to Firefox and had no problem uploading image and seeing videos.
Internet Explorer is one of the most clumsy and out dated browsers - with the most security issues. It doesn't just cause issues on Hubpages but many other sites as well. Probably best to stick with Firefox or Chrome.
There are different versions of Adobe Flash available for different browsers.
Due to this, sometimes when one browser is having issues with Flash content, others will not. We recommend keeping both your browser and Adobe Flash updated to the current stable versions.
Be aware that Internet Explorer 10 and Google's Chrome browsers both display Flash a bit differently as these browsers include their own Flash player.

Since another thread encouraged us to switch over to the new profile layout, I have checked some of the profiles of Hubbers who have switched. There are two technical problems that I see. It is possible that they are related to my browser (IE 8.0), but I'm not currently in a position to...

What is the reason that I am unable to edit and even post a forum question through Google Chrome? I am working through Internet Explorer at present and posting this question.

I've read lots of instructional stuff about these, but I've pretty much given up on trying to put them on my hubs because I just don't understand aspects of these tools. What I'd like to know is: Can I survive on HubPages without them?
