My sister told me yesterday that she tried to read several of my Hubs, but when she clicked on them all that came up was a large, banner-style Google ad at the top of the page.
When I looked at my earnings today and saw that I only earned $1 yesterday, I realized there must be a problem. I would appreciate it if you could look into the matter. Thanks!
If your sister named Sessily?
If so, I just replied to her email. From her description it sounds like there may be issues with her computer and/or web browser. My first guess would be that it may be malware of some kind injecting ads (browser toolbar, etc)
As for statistics, they are currently only 57 minutes behind realtime (see http://hubpages.com/my/hubs/stats)
It looks like this was related to an ad issue that has been addressed.
You can find more details here:
I just randomly clicked on several of them and they came up with no problems.
I just clicked 3 of your hubs too and they came up perfectly.
Hi! Thanks everyone for looking into it. I'm glad the issue was just browser. I won't worry about it anymore. : )
My mom tried to read my Hubs today and had the same issue. She said all she saw was a big ad banner at the top....
Interesting. I hope it gets worked out soon. Thanks for your input.

I just clicked one of my own ads by accident. Has anyone ever done this? Do you know if I will get an instant ban or is there a degree of tolerance to this? Surely it happens occasionally to many people. Am a bit worried about it. Thanks.

I didn't see a post about it so I thought it was just me. I tried to use the linking tool yesterday and the window would not automatically close. So I had to close it using the little "x" on the top right corner. The link forms and looks normal but when I clicked it, it took me to my home...

I have been here for 17 months and today is the day when my 29 hubs have been viewed for 100.000 times. What do you think? Is that good? I'm quite proud.
