Is hubpage stopped the usage of tags while we create a new hub? Now a days I didn't find the column for putting key words or tags. Can anyone help me? I fear avoiding key words may upset the visibility of our article on cyber world. Please clarify.
Yes. They stopped using it. I don't remember the primary reason for it, but one reason they did stop using them was that there were people abusing the system internally. So they retired the tags.
They done it for good. Now days Tags, Meta Tags don't have value for search engine. What matter is, Original, quality and fresh content. Don't worry about tags, it was just waste of time.
Just for reference/context, here is our blog post from last year announcing the change: http://blog.hubpages.com/2012/12/phasin … s-capsule/

When I go to write a new hub, the keyword tags that are usually there are not there. If I ignore that and get past the title and category stage, it still doesn't show up when I am working in the actual hub template. Is this normal?

The tagging system was cancelled by Hubpages, because of some spammers. And now I am experiencing significant drop in my Hub views. Anyone having the same thoughts. Please do share it here.....

Is there a way to get rid of unwanted traffic sites that attach a link to our hubs without our knowledge? I try to individually monitor my hubs for suspicious traffic and have written two letters to the offender who has sent me 8 visits on one hub this week. Now HubPages has marked my hub with a...
