If you find that your hubs are on the first page of Google but they are not the first result, more like halfway down the page, do you try to fix them and hope you don't mess them up instead or do you leave them as is?
I will be more motivated to move them up. By not improving them, it's like you are losing "already won" deal.
It also seems like the more time a visitor spends on your hub, the more love Google shows to it. Try adding a video, or quizzes to get the visitors interesting.
And as always, relevant and non-spammy backlinks too!
