Why do some of my pictures show up in Pinterest and some just show up with a HubPages logo? Also, when I add pictures to my hubs, it doesn't always show up in the edit phase, any ideas?

Hmmm, I am not sure if I can answer all your questions.  In Pinterest, do you try to post your whole link or use the Pinterest button on the sideline of the Hub? I do not pin that way. Instead I choose an individual photo in the Hub I want to pin. In the lower right hand corner of that individual picture a red 'pin' box shows up when you hover over the image.  I then proceed to pin that picture.  You can do this with all your images in a Hub.

I always edit my pictures outside of Hubpages and upload them exactly as I want them.  I didn't even know we could edit here.  LOL.

Hope the Pinterest information is helpful.

yes it is helpful, but when you pin your pics that way, does it link back to your hub or stand alone?

I was doing fine in uploading my photos to the first two hubs I published, but in the third one I decided to try out the album feature. I've noticed in other hubs that I've read that some have the album feature along with other single pictures taken from the album, but which stand alone.

When I did mine today, I put what I wanted into the album, but then everywhere else I put a single picture it labeled it as a separate album also. Therefore instead of just one album I have an album in each area I have a picture.

I've been looking for instructions on how to do this properly and haven't found anything yet. You can answer, or steer me in the right direction to an explanatory hub on the topic.

You just need to pin it from any where in web and it got pin in pinterest. Some times you took the wrong way to pin your images to pinterest. Fullu safe way to pin your images to pinterest is to download pictures from hubpages and then upload it straight to pinterest then you never saw hub logo in it .

How to add an image to your hubpage and "pin in" on Pinterest:

    1)    Add  photo capsule
    2)    Click “edit” in the photo capsule
    3)    Upload a legal photo. Upload < choose photo
    4)    Fill in information about the photo as necessary
    5)    Save
    6)    Edit and “publish” article
    7)    After your article has been approved you should see a “pin it” option on each photo you have posted if you mouse over the image.
